And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. - Galatians 6:9
I’m sure in the life of every great artist he/she felt that his/her work wasn’t good enough… Sometimes we can be our own toughest critics.. I go through this phase from time to time where I don’t feel creative and I feel like my skills aren’t progressing and my work looks like trash.. I hate to hear people tell me, “I can tell you did that”.. To me, I thought it meant my work was stale and everything looked the same… Today, I realized, I do have a certain style to my work… It’s signature to me and my clients appreciate it.. All great artist have a certain je ne sais quoi.. You can tell a Picaso from a Da Vinci or a Michaelangelo masterpiece.. I’m not comparing what I do to their brilliance, but there is a certain something to what I do that keep the clientele rolling in and coming back for more… As stressful and as annoying as it can be sometimes, I appreciate the gift that God has seen fit to trust me with.. I wouldn’t trade it for the world..
Just worked a 16 hour shift.. On my way home to crash! I can barley see straight.. I’ll be back at work at 2pm.. #TGIF (Taken with Instagram at Penthouse)
